Midweek Worship

We will be continuing prayer during Wednesday night worship.  Snacks will be provided at 6:00 PM.  The Preschool and Children's Ministry will begin at 6:30 PM.  

Men's Fellowship Breakfast

This Saturday, men of all ages are welcome to come to the Student Center for an encouraging word, Scripture, and a great breakfast.  The breakfast will begin at 7:30 AM in the Student Center.

Graduation Sunday

The graduation presentations for high school students will be during first and second worship this coming Sunday.

Switch High and Middle School Ministry

The Switch Ministries will not meet this coming Sunday morning due to the graduation presentations.  Families are encouraged to worship together. 

Donations

We changed our webpage "donations" from PayPal to Pushpay.  Pushpay is designed for churches as well as non-profits and charities.  It has many benefits we did not have with PayPal.  We want to make it as easy as possible for you to give your regular tithe as well as giving to a specific ministry online.  Go to our webpage, www.brevardcommunity.org, click "Donate," choose the "PUSHPAY" button at the bottom of the page, then fill in the remainder of the form.  Please fill in the note section if you have a specific designation for your gift.

Sycamore Flats Picnic and Baptism

We will have a picnic on Wednesday, June 29th at 5:00 PM at Sycamore Flats.  If you would like to be baptized that evening, please call the church office at 884-5932 or email lauren@brevardcommunity.org.  A meal will be provided.  Don't forget to bring a chair.

Benefit for Holmes Desmelik

Holmes Desmelik, a 7 year old boy in our community, is receiving treatment for a brain tumor. This Friday, May 27th, the Brevard High School Spirit Club will be hosting a Brevard Powderpuff Benefit Game.  All proceeds will be given to the Desmelik family.  Tickets are $7.00 and the kickoff is at 7:30 PM. 

Graduation Photos

Parents of high school graduates, please bring a flash drive or CD with 6 or 7 photos of your student to the church office by this Sunday, May 29th.  You can also email them to brett@brevardcommunity.org.  The graduation presentation will be on Sunday, June 5th during both worships.

Midweek Worship

Mom to Mom

Mothers, gather this Thursday at 9:30 AM to renew your mind with Scripture and hear encouraging words from other women seeking after Christ.  Childcare will be provided.  Ladies will meet in the blue room.

Big Stuf Parent Meeting

If you have a student registered for Big Stuf, make plans to attend the Big Stuf Parent Meeting this Sunday after second worship in the Student Center.  Please bring 30 dollars cash for your child's travel meal money along with a completed Big Stuf Packet.  This packet can be located online at http://brevardcommunity.org/#/community/students.  On this page, choose "Click Here For The Big Stuf Camp Packet."

Baby Dedication will be held this Sunday during second worship.

Midweek Worship

Life Group Potluck Picnic

You're invited to Sycamore Flats this Saturday, May 14th from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM.  Bring one or two side dishes and we will provide the meat.  This is a great opportunity to fellowship, encourage, and meet other Life Groups.

Baby Dedication will be held on May 22nd during both Worships.  If you would like to dedicate your child to the Lord, a required parent orientation will be tomorrow at 6:30 PM in the green room.  A light dinner and childcare will be provided.  If you haven't already let Tracy know you are planning to attend tomorrow evening, please email her at tracy@brevardcommunity.org.

Vacation Bible School

Please join us in praying that God will provide the supplies we need and will give the leaders wisdom in the use of these resources.  There are three ways you can help with supplies.  Thank you for your willingness to give!

• Go to http://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040b4eaaaf22a75-vbssupplies to sign up and bring items. 
• Donate a dollar for dollar tree items.  Drop dollars in the VBS Dollar Jar downstairs in the welcome center. 
• Bring the following items and drop them off in the welcome center downstairs: soda or water bottles (400 clean, clear plastic 20 ounce bottles with lids are needed), 4 tin coffee cans.  We also need large sheets of cardboard/refrigerator boxes, and wood pallets.  Cardboard and wood pallets can be dropped off on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Fridays.

Midweek Worship

Tomorrow evening Brett Best will be leading us in prayer.  Enjoy snacks at 6:00 PM.  The Children's Ministry and Preschool Ministry will start at 6:30 PM.

National Day Of Prayer

Everyone is encouraged to pray on the front steps of Brevard First Baptist Church at 12:30 PM this Thursday.  The focus will be on Christian officials praying for wisdom.
