Midweek Worship!
Join us tomorrow evening as Pastor Brent Metcalf will be speaking from John 16:1-11. Snacks will begin at 6:00 and worship will start at 6:30 PM. Switch Middle School Ministry will be held in the student center at 6:30 and the Children's Ministry will begin at 6:30 PM.
Arrangements For Scott Limerick's Mother
Scott Limerick's mother, Elizabeth "Liz" Limerick Freeman, is now with our Savior! The family is rejoicing that she is in heaven but they are also sad for the loss of such a sweet lady. The receiving of friends will be held tomorrow, Wednesday January 7th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Padgett and King Mortuary on 227 East Main Street in Forest City, North Carolina. The funeral will be on Thursday, January 8th beginning at 3:00 PM at Corinth Baptist Church on 767 Pinehurst Road in Ellenboro, North Carolina.
Life Group Leader Interest Meeting!
Do you have a burden to see people grow in their walk with the Lord? Do you ever feel the Holy Spirit tugging at your heart to go deeper with a few people to see them really understand Christ? If so, you may be called to the Life Group Ministry. This Sunday, January 11th at 12:15 PM in the student center a brief meeting will be held for anyone interested in starting a BCC Life Group.
Switch Small Groups!
Switch small groups for middle school and high school students will be starting back for the school semester this Sunday. This is an incredible opportunity for them to grow spiritually and connect with others within the church. Join us this Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the student center.
Adult Bible Study!
A 13 week Weirsbe Bible Study on Psalms will begin on Sunday, March 1st at 8:15 AM in the brown house. Sheila Alewine and Hope Kelly will be leading the Bible study. If you would like to participate, a sign up sheet will be in the welcome center.
Family Retreat!
This is a one night trip to the Wilderness Lodge of the Smokies in Sevierville, Tennessee for the whole family. The retreat will be held on March 6th and 7th. The event will include sessions on parenting and comes with a room, access to the water park, and two meals. The price is 150 dollars per family (price may vary based on family size). Half of the spots have already been taken so please email chris@brevardcommunity.org to sign up by February 1st. To secure your spot a 50 dollar deposit is due.
